Yellow Submarine is a full length animated film based on music by The Beatles. The movie is about a land called Peppermint, which is under attack by Blue Meanies, who turn the people to statues and drain the color from the land. The Beatles escape from Peppermint and return to Liverpool. They get prepared to go back to Peppermint and ride the Yellow Submarine there. Once in Peppermint they rally the people to rebellion by singing Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, and then are able to defeat the Blue Meanies and restore color to the land by singing All You Need Is Love.

Me and my kids watched this today! I haven’t seen it in over 20 years and they had never seen it before! Thanks for sharing this!
